I like him, because I feel like Blame had gotten an inordinate amount of venom and hatred from Z's fans after his victory against her. Even today I know a few who hold grudges against him, and his owners have been quoted saying that they genuinely feared for his safety if Zenyatta didn't win HotY. My hope is that Far From Over can help his pa get the positive limelight he deserves. He won against one of the true Greats! This should be seen as a compliment of the highest order, not a defeat.
Blame's son, Farm From Over, worked today. 4F 48:65 Breezing. Second work since his last race. Hope he turns out to be half the horse his great granddad, Alydar, was.
Hopefully Blame's stallion career will bloom after this. Because of his owners, whether he sires winners or not, he will be taken care of all his life there at Claiborne.
