Luminance broke the 5 furlong Del Mar track record in her debut last August. She injured herself soon after and Saturday will be her return to the track on dirt in the 7th race at Santa Anita. She is 50-1 in the Kentucky Oaks Future Wager Pool opening Friday. Here is a look at my pedigree and performance article on her I wrote last August.

Take Charge Brandi will be out for 60 days due to a knee chip, according to her trainer. I don't think there are any articles yet but it's out on her Twitter page. I'm so disappointed with this.

Here are 5 fillies who, in my eyes, have the potential to become major players on the Kentucky Oaks Trail in the near future.
