He's proven to be a consistently good sire, and I know a lot of us would love Zenyatta to go to him next year. I couldn't find another Ghostzapper thread in the search, so please forgive me if one already exists.
Ghostzapper has a few really nice 2yos right now, like Gamble's Ghost, Mt Veeder and Unexplained. I'm a big fan of Unexplained in particular, who is a very deep closer and whose broodmare sire is Afleet Alex.
I've been doing some research on ranking stallions by their percentage of winners to total runners, stakes winners to total runners, and graded stakes winners to total runners. Basically these are your chances of getting a winner, stakes winner, or graded stakes winner from any colt or filly from these stallions that actually makes it to the track.
Here are some big names, with Ghostzapper bolded for comparison:
I thought those results were extremely interesting. Ghostzapper is clearly on par with the best stallions in the business, but for a much cheaper stud fee.

Ghostzapper had quite the weekend between McCraken's track record in the Sam F. Davis and Iliad's impressive run in the San Vicente! He's one of my favorite stallions, so I'm very happy to see him getting the recognition and respect he deserves.
A favorite of lizzies too. Both races were very nice and I got paid better then expected in both because of the good numbers underneath... Whoop whoop I'm getting pretty excited about the next couple of derby preps here in southern California....gonna be some competitive races.
