  • His name was removed from the stallion roster. Even if "private" stud offering, for a handful of mares, it seems a waste to have him doing nothing for most of the year. How much better for him if his owners had a second career (other than as an occasional sperm donor) in mind for him. Maybe some news on his future will be known soon.

  • Yes, he was classified as a ridgeling. Didn't think about the possibility of him being non/sub fertile as a reason to remove him from the stallion roster. If so, maybe a blessing in disguise and the owners will do right by him, and have him gelded and given to someone for a second career and OTTB ambassador. Doubt that will happen, but would love to be wrong.
