Huh. Looking at the video ... that wasn't particularly promising.
Was he supposed to pass the horse in the stretch @Zenyen? He looked dead tired to me in the gallop out, but then I don't really know what I'm looking for. lol
@KMM -- first post on the top of the page, it's in a tweet. I know it's hard to find stuff when tweets are quoted and then new stuff added, easy to miss. ugh
I know I've stated it before, but I feel like Arrogate was a bit mismanaged since Dubai in that he received a long layoff but appears to have been stuck at Santa Anita (with no farm turnout). He also seems disinterested in racing nowadays. You have to wonder if his DWC was like Rachel's Woodward. Sadly, I expect him to be a non-factor in the BCC, but I hope he proves me wrong.
There is a reason people say that horses don't always come back to form after Dubai. There is something about the trip, the race and the timing for American racing that just does not mesh well.
I hate to say it as well and hope he proves me wrong, but at this point I will not be surprised if we hear that he's not going to start in BCC.
I'd like to see him rebound, but I am leery about his mindset and fitness. Whatever the reason for the regression, it makes California Chrome's consistent winning form after the DWC that more impressive.

A lot of knowledgeable people on Twitter were raving about Arrogate's work this morning, so the Classic might be more interesting than I thought. I was mentally considering Arrogate to be no longer a serious contender in the Classic, but I'm intrigued. Especially since a lot of people who have bashed his recent works were saying that there was a massive turn around today.
