I checked right away --- wonder why they used that Name? Hope it doesn't have anything to do with early "temperment". Another nice looking Chrome foal.

You mean hes not laid back and friendly like his daddy? Haha. He does appear to have attitude in his eye. He should be a fun one to follow if we get the chance.

I've bred much tighter inbreeding........in dogs, but I know breeding in race horses/TBs is viewed completely differently, so that's why I was surprised. Maybe folks are trying a new approach now? It's a fairly nice female family. And they obviously know the conformation they are looking at as it's not a terribly old pedigree.
I do remember reading an article a few years back encouraging folks to inbreed on Secretariat more. Of course at that time, I was much less versed in what that meant, other than the usual cross of AP Indy to Storm Cat. I wish I had saved it. It was by Bill Oppenheim (sp) or someone else of his stature and level of respect. Maybe Alan Porter?

I think I've posted this comment before, so I may be repeating myself, but I really do think most of the "Chrome" foals look so good --- hope a few get his racing talent.
