I think when the article says that he won't return to the U.S., it means he won't return before heading to Australia for the southern breeding season. According to this BloodHorse article, he is expected to shuttle to North America, but firm arrangements had yet to be made. Frankly, I don't see how they could pass up the opprtunity (and money).

im SOOO excited that AK's northern hemisphere status has been cleared up. i wasnt overly concerned that he wouldnt stand in north america but its nice to know the deal is done..and at darley where the occasional open house will allow a chance to visit him. ever since last years breeders cup at santa anita, this horse has been a fav of mine. ive said it several times but this horse in person is a must see..just a gorgeous horse..just wish i could go back to ky next year and see him

Motion, Team Valor part ways Published on Friday, 05 April 2013 11:38 Joe Clancy Trainer Graham Motion and Barry Irwin’s Team Valor International – the team behind 2013 Dubai World Cup and 2011 Kentucky Derby winner Animal Kingdom – will soon part ways, according to a statement released today by the racing syndicate. Team Valor horses will remain in Motion’s care through April, with private trainer Rick Mettee taking over May 1. Mettee, a longtime assistant/trainer with Godolphin Racing, will move into the Team Valor barn at Fair Hill Training Center, where Motion will maintain his public stable in his Herringswell Stables barn.
