Speaking of which him and zenyatta get a rating of B+ and him and RA get a rating of a B. None of which will happen being that hes too big but woo what a foal that would be. He was bred to the dam of Apriority and I think a half sis to AP Indy

  • Wow First Dude Should breed to Zenyatta that would be one super built horse.
  • RachelRachel Member
hes far to big for her lol, even when bred to medium sized mares his foals are big boned babies and large. hes a big baby maker. they nick pretty well tho
  • Yeah i figured that but just think if they did have a foal that foal would be sturdy and help to bring back a "solid" horse not the fragile ones most commonly seen today.
  • Wow -- those are some phenomenal looking foals! And First Dude isn't half bad himself!
  • RachelRachel Member
oh that foal would be phenomenal no doubt
  • First Dude's first foals sold this year in Oct 15-16th in the OBS Mixed Sale for an average of $26,000

  • First Dude is one well put together Horse. How many hands high is he? He looks very tall. So Regal looking.
  • He might be 17 hands, if not then close to it. Hes very "Man O' War" esk when he prances lol
  • He is a very proud guy isn't he? What a beautiful horse! His bearing IS like Man O' Wars. Man O' War stretched his neck up real tall like a periscope. First Dude does the same. Like someone said previously, "I'm in love". He has an impressive engine, and all his babies seem to have inherited that trait.
  • Ive always love First Dude, that race between Game On Dude, him, and Twirling Candy was a thrilling one indeed. Twirling Candy came in third controversally cuz he got bumped but no change in the order of fnish. Game On Dude was 2nd and First Dude won. Baffert won 1-2 that day. Its a shame he was retired with an injury but his foals look phenominal, as did he.
  • First Dude was a popular guy this year--covered 150 mares in FL. We'll get to see lots of his progeny in the coming years.
  • tomorrow in the Fasig-tipton sale at 4pm eastern, First Dude has 2 weanlings, a colt and a filly.

you all remember the race where First Dude, Game On Dude, and Twirling Candy were duking it out. that was when First Dude and GoD were in the same barn together with Baffert. those were the good old days. Game On Dude's claim to fame happened when he was the sole dude left after First Dude was retired with an injury. i was sad to see him go but GoD made up for that loss.

  • Hip #134 didn’t steal the bidding show, but Coffee Pot Stables sure go her for a bargain price. I wasn’t sure what to expect, seeing as she from the first crop of sire, First Dude (pictured above), but when she walked into the ring I fell in ×love. She had a lovely smooth gait to her that covered tons of ground. She was tall and very leggy, but still showed good bone and muscle. One will not easily miss this flashy filly, as a couple of her four stockings qualify her to be a paint. Overall, she
  • Thats what Im saying, First Dude will be one of those throw back studs that bring good bone to their offspring and they are powerfully built
