I was just flipping thru the postings here to check any new stuff and came down to this picture and my head is saying 'man, look like tiznow' only to scroll up a bit and see note by Rachel confirming my thought. )))
I really enjoy it when a stallion or mare for that matter, pretty much throws a trait fairly consistently to their get. Tiznows have a look and Tapits have a look. And see how we pick up V's influence in her kids.
AmandaF-here's another one to add to the gallery-Mastercraftsman. Keta Kingston Hill Proves Merit of Mastercraftsman Porter on Pedigrees By Alan Porter , Pedigree Consultants Over the years we've learned that predicting sire success is a very tricky business, in particular guessing at what perceived negatives in a pedigree might or might not impact their stud career. One example of a young sire who had many credentials but also a shadow of doubt is Mastercraftsman. There was no doubt that he had the race record. ,,,,,
Winstar Farm has new pictures up of their stallions, except Take Charge Indy (still healing) and Paynter (gotta settle into farm life). I will dare say...some of them look a little rough and Bellamy Road has a club foot, who knew? http://www.winstarfarm.com/stallions.html
Just came across this one. Love his two-toned mane and especially his tail. Looks as if he started to go grey--see muzzle and eye-surround--and then changed his mind. LOL

Mastercraftsman was already making a very useful-looking start this year, but
on Oct. 26 he leapt to the top of the freshman sire list following the victories of Craftsman in the JRA Killavullan Stakes (Ire-III) and Kingston Hill in the Racing Post Trophy (Eng-I).
