Chrome Leads Dubai Contingent By DRF.com DUBAI, U.A.E. (MAR. 18, 2015) — They’re back. After basically saying thanks but no thanks in 2014, when a mere three horses made the trip, U.S.-based horses will travel en masse for the March 28 Dubai World Cup card at Meydan Racecourse. Prospective fields for the races provided Tuesday by Dubai Racing Club officials include 16 American horses who were to ship overseas Tuesday. The return of dirt racing this year at Meydan, which had employed an all-weather racing surface since its opening in 2010, spurred the increased participation. The American contingent includes two starters for the $10 million Dubai World Cup, California Chrome and Lea. Donn Handicap winner Constitution had been an intended World Cup runner before injuring a shin, and 2014 Breeders’ Cup Classic winner Bayern might have traveled as well had he recovered in time from a foot problem. http://ctba.com/chrome-leads-dubai-contingent/
I giggle at the fact that when he steps foot off the trailer in Dubai he will announce his presence like he always does. And do it again when he goes to the track and every time he goes on the track lol
Yep, no buts about it...they'll know it's him. giggle, giggle, giggle...

I know and he races under the name wattani, hence my reference to his riding cloth. I dont know that he'll be listed as an american horse , but it would make sense if you want the general betting public to support him. how many people outside dubai are gonna buy wattani winners....
Do any of you guys know where there's a livestream of Meydan Racecourse? I was hoping to watch the UAE Derby today and the Dubai World Cup next week, but I have no idea where to watch it online.
Has anyone been seeing the photos of Chrome in Dubai? He jogged over the track and was sweaty but then again it was in the 80s there. Very fancy stable he is in, white walls and spacey. What looks to be marble floors on the walkway infront of the stall doors and glass windows to look out of. Chrome looks bright eyed and healthy as can be. Looks like an inclosed climate controlled barn.
