Fan favorite and beauty "queen" Juba (Tapit - Adorodancer by Danzig Connection) has been retired to stud at Taylor Mountain Farm in West Virginia. No blacktype, half to Saint Anddan.
Wow! Handsome, actually beautiful. Someone on one of the threads mentioned Arabian-looking thoroughbreds. This guy would be a candidate. Especially the first shot on facebook and the straight on head shot. You ca see the Tapit in him. Adoradancer not so much. See below for pic.
BOBBY'S KITTEN, Group One winning Miler/Sprinter, will be first stallion son of outstanding Champion Turf sire KITTEN'S JOY at stud in Europe.
"We are delighted and proud here at Lanwades to have acquired such an exciting stallion prospect", said Kirsten Rausing, owner and general manager of Lanwades. "BOBBY'S KITTEN (named, like FRANKEL, for the late Bobby Frankel) is a Graded Stakes winner at 2 and 3 in the US, and a Stakes winner in Ireland this year. A specialist miler, he had the speed to beat NO NAY NEVER as a 3yo in the Gr.1 Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint over 6.5f. His spectacular and unforgettable performance in this race has to be seen to be believed and is available to view on www.lanwades.com.

He'll be standing at stud four hours west of me, on the other side of DFW. Hoping my hubby can take me and our baby there next summer after breeding season! And as far as I can tell, he'll be the only TB standing there. The others, whether performance or barrel/race horses, are all APHA or AQHA. And that includes resident and non-resident stallions.
Air Force Blue is going to stand at Ashford Stud in 2017. With the exception of Frankel, he is Timeform's highest-rated juvenile in nearly 20 years and is the highest-rated juvenile ever from the Danzig line. Aiden O'Brien described him as the best juvenile he's ever trained.
Yikes! What a rash of retirements being announced!
Just today, the retirement of G3W Promise Me Silver (4yo gr/ro Silver City filly) was announced. She will be sold at KeeNov. I hope some Texan picks her up... because she would do wonderfully with Texas Bling, I think. Yes, it would be my dream Texas-bred cross, as well as the already retired G3W Fiftyshadesofgray (in foal to Tapit last I heard) going to him.
