How disappointing that they are entering her in a sprint. I mean, I can think of big, gray mares that were fabulous sprinters (Mizdirection, Stonetastic), but they had sprint pedigrees. Unique Bella was bred for classics.....
This girl is so nice, it just bothers the hell out of me. Hollendorfer drives me crazy. FWIW, with It Tiz Well's win in the Cotillion, Bella has defeated G1 winners in each of her graded stakes runs.
She's definitely maturing a ton - and she's so much prettier in the face now! She's so keen. I just love her.

I've always loved her too, even though I don't have your background and knowledge base. I wonder if her owners will ever consider a trainer switch or if they are on board with sprints?
Oh, that is really too bad of them. I thought they were keeping her out because of Songbird. I also think it would have been a very close race between those two, and don't know which one would have won. Maybe Unique Bella has a condition we are not being told about that prevents her from running longer distances?
